Tips for Shopping!

This kind of goes hand in hand with with the previous blog subject, things that I love, but it is obvious that I love shopping. So, now I figured I can provide a few tips to shopping in this down economy. I set out my journey yesterday to go shopping after unsuccessfully trying to find something in my closest to wear out for drinks the night before. I noticed that the Summer dress is very popular here down in the south, so this is what I set out to get.

Tip number 1: Make a List... So many ladies will go and shop with no plan and just browsing turns into a financial nightmare.

Tip number 2: Set a budget... this goes with tip number 1. I found it to be extremely helpful and made my shopping experience so much more fun. I think when you know you are going to spend the money it can make it fun to shop. So, like gambling set a budget and stick to it.

Summer Time!

Wow it's hot! It's official, summer time is here. I think you can tell when you wake up at 8 am and it's already 80 degrees. South Carolina has some great options for summer time play. It is my favorite to go to the beach so far. There are some beautiful beaches around here. Today I think I will hit the pool. I have check the weather tonight and it is going to be perfect for evening cocktails down on Folley Beach, come and join us. Beach and drinks not a bad evening. Well, off to the pool... Later!

Girls night out

So the night started out very great, a bunch of us girls went over to my friends house for appetizers and drinks. She had a wonderful spread of dips and chips. The homemade spinach dip was the best! Oh, and my friend made me a wonderful drink with Firefly vodka. Firefly vodka is brewed right here in Charleston, SC... it is sweet tea flavored vodka. Gotta love the south! If you mix it with pink lemonade you have a nice summer cocktail :) It is a must try! Well then we went downtown Historic Charleston, SC to hit the night scene. This was our girls night out, It was typical until my friends decide they wanted to jump up on the bar and dance on the bar. I think I am getting old when you see a bunch of girls having fun and dancing on the bar, and all I can think of is I bet this bar's insurance policy is very expensive. They actually encourage women to get up there...NOT me! but here is a picture of my crazy friends... till next time, C ya!

SLEEP! I do love to sleep, but last night was not the night for it. Tossing and turning, then a thunderstorm keeping me up. I should have written this last night because I couldn't sleep. Well, make sure you comment on your sleeping trouble's... Later!
